Antifreeze

The antifreeze used in your vehicle must perform several critical functions within the cooling system. By lowering the freezing point, raising the boiling point, facilitating heat transfer, controlling scale formation, maintaining pH stability and preventing foam formation, antifreeze helps ensure the efficient operation of the engine cooling system.

Features of Opet Antifreeze Products

Opet Coolants/Antifreeze products protect engine cooling system components, including cylinder blocks and liners, water pumps, hoses, gaskets and radiators, against corrosion. Opet Antifreeze products provide excellent protection against freezing during winter as well as overheating during summer. Designed to efficiently dissipate heat and prevent corrosion, they should always be mixed with deionized or purified water before use.

The recommended mixture ratio is 50% water and 50% antifreeze. This mixture provides freeze protection down to -38°C. When properly mixed with water, Opet Antifreeze products can be safely used throughout the year in engine cooling systems.

Opet Antifreeze Product Range

Extended Life Antifreeze is a long-life, ethylene glycol-based concentrated coolant produced using Organic Acid Technology (OAT). Its advanced silicate-free formulation provides excellent corrosion protection for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, agricultural machinery and construction equipment, especially those equipped with aluminum and ferrous alloy engines.

It does not contain environmentally harmful additives such as nitrates, amines or phosphates and is environmentally compatible. It should not be used with extremely hard water, seawater, saline water or wastewater.

Antifreeze Special is a premium ethylene glycol-based concentrated coolant formulated with a corrosion inhibitor package consisting of organic acid salts and silicate compounds. It is suitable for year-round use in the cooling systems of passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, agricultural machinery and construction equipment.

Antifreeze Special does not contain nitrites, amines or phosphates. It is particularly suitable for cooling systems equipped with aluminum and cast-iron engine components. It should not be used with extremely hard water, seawater, saline water or wastewater.

Super Antifreeze is a premium ethylene glycol-based concentrated coolant formulated with specially selected additives for year-round use in the cooling systems of gasoline and diesel engines found in passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, agricultural machinery and construction equipment.

Its advanced formulation prevents radiator coolant from freezing in cold climates while also protecting against boiling and overheating in high-temperature operating conditions. It should not be used with extremely hard water, seawater, saline water or wastewater.
